Start a WhatsApp call or chat with your clients using a spontaneous message or one that is pre-defined in Leader, with the touch of a button.
Start a WhatsApp call or chat in just one click
Just click on the WhatsApp button on the lead details row, under Options:
If the telephone number contains a country code, the call or chat will start immediately in the WhatsApp application on your mobile device or computer.
If the lead’s phone number doesn’t have a country code
If the lead’s phone number doesn’t contain a country code, a popup window will appear requesting that you enter a country code and then press the “Send WhatsApp message” button to start a call or chat.
Why do you require to enter a country code
WhatsApp can’t start a call or chat if the phone number is missing a country code since it won’t know what country the phone number belongs to.
You can save the country code in the campaign settings and prevent this window from popping up in the future. You can save the country code to the campaign settings by ticking the box under the country code field.
Once you’ve entered the country code, you can press the “Send WhatsApp message” to start a WhatsApp call or chat.
Set a default message
You can set a default message through the campaign settings in the “More settings” tab:
The default message will let you start the chat with a pre-defined text.
You can change or delete these settings whenever you want.
Before sending the message, you can edit it as needed.
